I don 't mind paying £1.00 delivery, as a taxi driver, why would I ? .... the fellas driving round into the late hours need to earn a wage .... But what on earth was a 50p 'service charge ' added for after online checkout ???? Why on earth should a takeaway put on a 50p service charge ?? ..... what on earth is that for ? Food was lovely, but that aspect (which I was never going to pay), sadly left a bad taste. I 'll be contacting them out of principle just to ask what they do it for telling them that if they don 't drop this charge, I 'll not order again
Ordered at 5.29pm was given a 1 hour delivery time. Rang up after it had been 70minutes since first ordering to be told it was leaving the shop in 2-3 minutes. I rang back at 7pm (now 30 minutes late) to be told again that it would be leaving shortly. Finally arrived at 7.20pm. 50 minutes late and tasteless food. Pizzas had very Little toppings on. Very disappointed as ordered from there a few times and it's always been good. Won't be ordering again.
Just had a horrible chicken tikka and chips takeaway from spicy bites. As you can see from the photo they just reheated some previously fried chips hence black n dark. Chicken very dry and un appetising. Also they charge for sauces..it wasnt even busy on a saturday evening. Ive only just moved here most certainly wont be going back in a hurry. Spicy bites? Should call themselved horrible bites ....
I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so this time. I am a big fan of curry and have tried many different kinds from various places. Spicy Bites is hands down the best. Their curries are authentic and delicious. While I personally don't order pizzas or kebabs, my family loves getting them from here. The food is always hot and well-presented. Well done, Spicy Bites! The whole family had chick tikka masala last night we order a variety from spicy bites for over 2years now as a treat never had an issue..... The masala last night had way to much coconut in it and tasted different than usual causing the whole family to be off with diarrhoea and vomiting ..... will not be ordering from her anymore very annoyed !!!! Calling up to complain later
Avoid ordering from this restaurant. We received the wrong curry sauce and a completely raw and inedible spicy chicken wing. When we contacted the takeaway for a refund, they were unapologetic and unhelpful. We had to throw away all the food and now have to wait up to 72 hours to discuss a refund with customer service.
