The atmosphere is very family-friendly, with some great décor featuring old-school photos of classic cars. There's even a car door used as decoration at the register! The restaurant is clean and has a decent amount of seating despite its small size. Just a heads-up—parking is limited, so I suggest taking the T or an Uber.
The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, especially since I had a hard time deciding what to order. Spikes offers much more than just hot dogs, and after enjoying my Veggie Dog meal, I'm tempted to return to try their veggie burgers too!

We absolutely love Spikes! The hot dogs are incredibly tasty, served on delicious buns. Make sure to try the German Shepherd and the curly "poodle" fries—they're fantastic! We also had the challenge of babysitting someone with numerous allergies, but the cashier was incredibly helpful in addressing our concerns.
Not to be missed if you are in the Massachusetts or Rhode Island area. Owner happened to be at location we visited, and he was pleasant and friendly. Not sure what to get, try the Texas Ranger Dog, Cheesy Buffalo Dog, or the St. Bernard Dog and of course, some Junkyard Fries,
Been eating here for probably over 15 years at this point. Excellent vegan/vegetarian options. Amazing lemonade. Guaranteed good food, at a good price, and always come out quickly. Staff is always friendly/helpful too, can’t go wrong! Best hot dogs in New England!

I would rate this place a 5 just for the fries. They are definitely the best I've had in the area, and the hot dog was fantastic as well! I'm not usually a big fan of hot dogs, but the meat tasted high quality, which is a huge plus.
