I can't believe I've waited all this time to go to Spin! Came here with a friend last week and was surprised how incredible this place is. Sure, it's a bit pricier when compared to a Table Tennis center but as far as experience goes, nothing comes close! Spin is the perfect setting to catch up with a friend, have date, grab bite or just have a couple drinks. The wrap around bar has plenty of seating and there are more than table tennis tables for everyone. I could totally see this spot being rented out for corporate parties or private events. As far as the quality of the tables, rackets, balls, etc.. everything get 5/5 stars. All of the equipment is regulation and provides an exceptional playing experience. You are given two buckets of balls (which get refreshed if needed), so you never have to rummage on the floor to start the next point. They also are constantly sweeping the floor to collect loose balls, so you really never have to worry about stepping or slipping on one. Pro tip: If getting beers, order a bucket of coronas (6 for only $30), and some nachos or pizzas for the best bang for your buck.
The place has the potential to be fantastic, but the customer service and the service itself… terrible! If you want to play some ping pong only, then go for it. Now, if you want to celebrate something as I tried… choose somewhere else. So disappointing. Maybe you can try the SPIN at 23. I went there the other time, and it was a better experience.
Fun place for corporate activities. The food was unexpectedly delish. A wide range of cheeses and imported cold cuts were made available to us. No, not the deli meat ant the bodega, but the real thing you might find in France or Italy's country side. Very large indoors and clean well kept bathrooms. Good selection of beer and wines.
