We went out for lunch today and wanted to try someplace either new or that we hadn't been to in a while. We are also not ready to dine inside a restaurant because of high-risk health issues so we rode around Cranston for quite a while trying to find someplace to eat. We saw the sign in front of this restaurant that said they had patio dining Wednesday through the weekend I believe and so we were happy to stop and have lunch. We were the only ones out there in the back. They made it look like a cute little patio with a fence and bushes around the edge and tables with umbrellas. This restaurant is situated in Federal Hill, inside a charming Victorian house. They began the meal with Italian bread and butter. I opted for the chicken escarole soup instead of a salad. Both appetizers were decent, but nothing extraordinary. Additionally, the soup was lukewarm; however, it's worth noting that we were part of a bus trip, and they were accommodating a group of 50. For my main course, I had the stuffed sole, which was delightful. The crab meat stuffing was flavorful and satisfying. The roasted potatoes were also quite enjoyable. For dessert, I chose the tiramisu, which was rich and creamy. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
I think this place is pretty underrated. We get take out from here quite often recently had a large ordered catered for my sister's birthday. Not only do I never have any issues here but they always get it right! Every time I order take out from other restaurant's they constantly make mistakes- but not this place. The staff and employees are knowledgeable, kind and on top of it. Not to mention the food is AMAZING. The chicken parmigiana is excellent! Chicken franchise is a close second. The sauce is great! The portions are HUGE you can't beat the prices!!! One of my favorite places to order take out!
Dont go, very disappointing Tasteless sauce, young inexperienced staff! Surf and turf was swimming in watery raab, undercooked, the lobster had too much garlic, could not enjoy the flavor. Shocking that this place can stay open, and to call the red sauce Italian is a joke. May as well open a can of diced tomatoes and dump it on penne. They need a new chef! The hostess was trying to set up a table for talking loudly to the staff right next to us, for minutes. Conversation was difficult with that going on......we won't be back.

This restaurant serves the best version of Aglio e Olio, hands down! It's not on the menu, ironically, but you go ahead and ask for it. Add your protein, if you prefer. I like it pure. Sooo good is an understatement. This restaurant is located right in the Providence area where Italian restaurants abound. If you have had enough of Federal Hill and have not stepped inside this beautiful restaurant, you are missing out.
GAME DINNER ON MARCH I attended this type of dinner when Spiritos was in East Providence. It was very good then and this last one, up on the hill, was also the best.I liked that you included my favorite dish as one of the courses.Everyone who I recommended you to have enjoyed the food and have returned again.
