Spirits Of Daintree

What an incredible experience! Within just five minutes of our guided walk on the boardwalk, we encountered a young cassowary. Thanks to Steve and his trusty rake, we never felt threatened at all. Steve was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about the rainforest, which made the experience even more enjoyable. To cap it all off, we spotted an adult cassowary at the end of the walk—truly spectacular! A huge thank you to the owner and café staff for their friendliness. I highly recommend this place!

This was the best part of our trip to far north Queensland. As we walked along the boardwalk, we were fortunate enough to spot a father cassowary with his striped chick. It was truly unforgettable! A big thank you to Lee for sharing your local knowledge with us.

By far the biggest highlight of my Australian experience! To see the Cassowary amongst the Fan Palms was truly like going back in time. Amazing hospitality. I'll be back for sure.
