Das SPIZZ ist für mich DER Hotspot in Leipzig, wundervoll gelegen am alten Rathaus mit Blick auf den kulturträchtigen Marktplatz. Man kann über Eck ins Barfußgässchen sitzen, im Sommer dem Gewimmel zusehen und das Kneipen-Meilen-Flair schnuppern. Die große Scheiben-Front im Gässchen kann geöffnet werden, sodass ich mir neulich auf dem Freisitz mit beschwingter Reggae-Musik, seichter Sommerbrise und lecker Spizz-Limo in der Hand vorkam wie auf Jamaika - es fehlte nur noch der Strand. The Spizz is located at the beginning of the popular Barfussgässchen. The location is perfect. That's why Spizz is always full. So it's very loud inside. Food and drink are always good. Waren zum Frühstück da. Es war nicht so voll, aber wir mussten dennoch eine Weile warten. 10 Minuten nach der Bestellung fiel dann auf, dass ein Rührei aus 2 Eiern einfach nicht machbar ist. Warum weiß ich auch nicht. Also ohne Ei! Das Frühstück selbst war nicht besonders viel und geschmacklich sehr dürftig. Wenigstens war die Kellnerin nett!
Nach einem leckeren Abendessen im Pho Viet in der Nähe, wollten wir dort noch einen "Absacker" gegen 22 Uhr nehmen; Wartezeit auf die Bedienung zur Aufnahme der Bestellung > 10 Minuten; auf meine Frage, warum das so lange dauert: Schulterzucken "in dem Abschnitt bin ich alleine"; Fazit: es gibt genügend andere Möglichkeiten in der Nähe!
Wir sind spontan reingegangen, haben dann dort gefrühstückt. Sehr zu empfehlen. Viel Auswahl, das Essen ist schön angerichtet. Obwohl sehr viel an dem Tag los war, hatten wir keine lange Wartezeit.
