When a friend of mine recommended this restaurant to me the previous week, I was surprised to find out how good it was. And it is a particularly good recommendation because my girlfriend, whom I brought here for our third monthsary celebration, was completely taken with the place. After enjoying delicious cocktails, my love and I enjoyed Caesar salad, steak tips and fried chicken for the both of us. Their service was extremely friendly and helpful without being intrusive in any way. The food looked and sounded delicious on paper, but it tasted three to four times better in person. This place is an absolute treasure. The food is amazing, the service is exceptional and the atmosphere is 100. But besides all of that, the way they uplift and support the community, treat their employees and customers, and give back during a time when restaurants are really struggling says so much. You're not just supporting an incredible restaurant, but one whose mission goes above the status quo. Plus, amazing cocktails and fried chicken. Do I need to say more?

Walked in for brunch with friends and absolutely loved the atmosphere. Food was delicious, and was so stoked to have gluten free friend chicken. Sadly, that was almost the only thing I could eat. Half the brunch menu was sandwiches, and they didn’t offer a gluten free bread option. Seemed silly to not include that at a place that had gf fried chicken!Only other downsides was it was a little pricier and service was a tad slow but it was still good!

This restaurant in the Ukrainian Village and Wicker Park is one of my favorites. They serve delicious roasted chicken options, both gluten-full and gluten-free. I highly recommend trying their truffle dishes, they are the best in the city. The restaurant includes a mandatory service fee, which gives them the opportunity to provide excellent service. The more I eat here, the more I realize it's one of my favorite restaurants! Fried chicken is good but the star of that dish is the biscuit. Holy cow, it's incredible. Brunch at restaurants usually suck but split rail is a huge exception. Latkes, matzo ball soup and bagels are all fantastic. Can't recommend this place enough

I live in the neighbourhood and have come here since the pandemic. it was amazing before it was amazing. some of the most friendly owners. Freaking best biscuits ever everywhere: great huh, salate seasonal rotations. big weeping to fair trips. I brought family from the city here and everyone loves it

This is one of my favorite spots for a date night! The food is amazing (especially the fried shrimp), the drinks are fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and there is good music playing. There are also plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions, which is a major bonus!

Always a great experience! Love the food and the cocktails: the fried chicken is to die for, the matzah ball soup is divine, and the atmosphere at the bar is always jovial.
