Let me preface this by saying that I was a loyal Spoodles Belmont customer right up until today, when I went into the store and was informed they don't do sandwiches anymore they are a soup only shop now. I personally feel like this is a huge mistake and they will be alienating almost all of their customers and will be out of business before long. I went in for a soup and sandwich. Could I have gotten just a soup? I guess? But I don't want just soup, I want a sandwich and a soup. The two go hand in hand to me. Really really upsetting, they were the best sandwich joint in town, by far. Now they're just a limited soup menu... Sad day.
Great food, super friendly staff, reasonable prices. It delivers exactly on what it promises and the people who work there clearly take great pride in their work.Edit: even the negative reviews of this place are glowing. If you notice most of the negative ratings tend to be around people upset that the shop limited its menu instead of sacrificing on quality.
I only ordered the soups for delivery, and unfortunately, every single one was quite disappointing. The tomato soup tasted like it came straight from a can of Campbell's. The gumbo was excessively salty and lacked any flavor beyond that; gumbo really needs some spice to stand out. As for the chili, it also tasted like it was straight out of a can.
The food is great, when they actually have what they advertise online. I have had issues multiple time with getting calls from either door dash, or the restaurant directly stating they do not have enough what I ordered. I will not be ordering from there again. You lost a good customer...

Spoodles has been my go-to lunch spot for years, and I'm really disappointed that they no longer serve sandwiches. I urge you to reconsider this decision as soon as possible to avoid any negative effects on your business.
Loved this place. The Clam Chowder was tasty and the meatball sub hit the spot. The owner was super nice as well. We were running put of time and she packed everything up for us to take out.

I visited today, 9/20/22, and noticed that they no longer serve sandwiches, just soup. The food is good, and the staff is friendly.

I LOVE this place. Best chicken noodle soup ever. The sandwiches are so good too. Love that they have bottled seltzer.
Delicious soup! Rich and flavour mushroom broth! I'll defitnetly try the other menu options!
