We had made plans to go to Spoon Sushi for our daughter's birthday with friends. Given the hecticness of life it took us awhile to find a date that worked so when a major snow storm hit, we were hesitant to cancel because we knew it would take forever to reschedule. We showed up at the restaurant, went in to get a table and realized that our friend was still out in his van. He is in a wheelchair so I went out to help him get in through the deep snow and the owner actually came out and shovelled a path for us so it was easier for him to get into the restaurant. We have eaten there as just a couple and in a small group several times now and I can honestly say that the service and food is amazing. We don't often eat there as it is located in the Northwestern end of the city, but whenever we are nearby and it is close to a mealtime, we are stopping for a meal. Very friendly and knowledgable staff.

I had heard amazing reviews from friends and decided to finally try it. Although it's next to a gas station and the outside appears outdated, I have to say the quality and taste are excellent! Don't let the odd location fool you. The food is awesome and is arguably the best Sushi in town. Great place to visit for lunch or take out.

Good food,fast service, nice decor,and pleasant staff! Unagi was delicious and the tempura was also yummy.
