Sporting - Reserva de mesa

We were four adults and three teenage children and we had a great meal in Le Sporting on a wet Saturday night. The restaurant is in the centre of the village and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The portions are generous, the ambience is warm, and the service fast (except for producing the bill at the end... . The red curry risotto with tiger prawns was really delicious a spicy Italian take on a Thai classic, with shelled prawns and a smooth gravy. The rosti complet with bacon and mushroom was excellent, too, and the chevre chaud salad was very tasty and a generous portion. The house wines are all from Ollons, so very local and excellent value. In my humble opinion, Le Sporting is the most phenomenal restaurant in the vast Canton of Vaud. The ambience is incredible, the service is astonishing and the quality of the food is impeccable. Furthermore, the terrace is an excellent place to dine if you're interested in experiencing an exquisite view of the Alps the gorgeous weather of the beautiful Swiss Village, Villars Sur Ollon. Moreover, due to the restaurant's hardworking and caring staff, Le Sporting id a wonderful place for all students studying in Villars to socialise and make new friends. Once again, SPORTING IS THE BEST.

Lots of choice on the menu, a very traditional setting, with amazing views in the day time. We had an enjoyable evening but not a breathtaking meal. Service was fast, portions generous, explaining the menu wasn’t as issue and the staff were friendly. As all restaurants in the resort, food isn’t cheap. On a side note they could do with a few light bulbs replacing!

Best views in town, lovely terrace for coffee, beer and ice cream, exquisite Swiss meals in the formal dining room with panoramic views over the valley. Informal dining menu available on the terrace and in the sports bar. 5 mins walk from the swimming pool and skating rink. Reserva una mesa ahora

Came to share a drink, I had a pleasant time there. Even though I didn't eat there, the menu seemed varied and appetizing. Very beautiful setting and very warm welcome, a pleasure to stop there

Children menu was a big success with our 10-years old twins, Service was fast and flexible even accommodating special wishes not on the menu. Definitely will be back

Excellent steak, perfectly cooked with lovely accompaniments. Great risotto. Waitress couldn’t be bothered! Didn’t have a pudding as no one came to take our order.

On December 27 we were able to enjoy the terrace in the sun Top Parisian entrecôte and a very good fondue

We ordered foie gras and pasta and it was lovely. Will return in the future.
