I hardly ever put bad reviews but this is an exception . We began our evening by having to argue to move our table a couple of inches over not to be in the sun he was adamant that they don’t do that. Then the second argument came when the wanted to squeeze five adults in a small table. The food was not bad but lacked a bit of taste and definitely was very over priced. Would definitely not recommend and I m a frequent visitor to the area they will not see me again. I’ll pay double the price some place they respect their costumers
Been wanting to try this place since it opened and I’ll definitely be back in the future. Has indoor or and outdoor seating. We opted to wait alittle while for indoor seating since we had little ones and the hostesses kept checking in us and getting us drinks while we waited. Once seated we got the calamari as an app and that was very good. Even my 3 year old loved it! I got the pasta bowl with seafood(shrimp, local fish and scallops) and my husband got the scallops entree and all of it was fantastic. Highly recommend all of it!
Square grouper is a must when visiting Islamorada. We sat at the bar and had the best dirty martini, old fashion and espresso martini made by bartender Mike. The food was delicious as always. Mike was friendly and attentive. He told us about the “bar” upstairs called Sunset Lounge and we felt we had to try it. It was just as amazing. Anytime we are in Islamorada you can find us as Square Grouper.
The food is fresh and phenomenal! It’s so good we went back on our short trip! Highly recommend the daily specials with the catch of the day. Perfectly prepared and great portion. Most food in the keys is a little pricey but worth it when it’s fresh and delicious, like at Square Grouper.
