St Andrews Links Clubhouse Tom Morris Grill

Food was good, nothing exceptional. The service however was terrible. We were informed very abruptly when we arrived that they were short staffed, which we didn't mind but the gentleman who seated us was rude and just not interested. Our waitress was absolutely miserable obviously didn't want to be there. Once we had finished our meal we sat for 20 mins with the table covered in dirty dishes yet two waitresses walked past our table several times to clear empty tables.... it was a birthday treat for my son..... definitely not a treat. I'm glad I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant. We dined in for lunch, and the experience was fantastic. The food was excellent, earning a solid 5 out of 5. The service was equally impressive, also a perfect 5. The atmosphere was delightful, making it a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. Overall, I would say it's worth the price range of £20–30 per person.

The service was disappointing, possibly due to a lack of staff. I dined in for lunch, and the cost per person was between £30 and £40. The food was quite good, scoring a 4, but the service fell short with a score of 1. The atmosphere was decent, rated at 3. On a positive note, there was plenty of parking available, with free parking options.

Superb bowl of soup in a very fine setting. What a pleasure it was to be served by such a knowledgeable member of staff with an excellent understanding of the menu.
