St. Andrews Shawarma House

I spent over £30 on food and when I picked up my order, half of it was missing. I went back to get the rest and asked them to keep my food warm while they prepared the missing items. When I finally got home, the food they had kept warm was greasy, the portions were small, and it was rock hard. I had to return once again with the tiny, grease-covered wrap because it was completely inedible, and they did remake it for me. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service, having to go back twice just to get my order right, and I'm still hungry from the small portions! I won't be coming back and cannot recommend this place.

I've never been as disappointed by a takeaway as by this place today. The portions were tiny and expensive, £10.99 for a shawarma and chips that was served in a small box with such a small amount of chips you could count them on one hand. The chicken shawarma was hardly visible and didn't even form one layer in the small box, it was mainly salad. I feel ripped off, never had such a bad experience before from anywhere before. I won't be ordering again.

I've been home stateside from St Andrews after a semester abroad for four months and I can't stop craving this place. They say that the star represents loyalty, as even when it's cloudy they're always there. Even when it's after midnight, Shawarma house was there. Tough exam? Shawarma house was there. Cold day on the links? Shawarma house was there. Beautiful place, phenomenal wrap. Miss it every day. Food: 5

Save your money on pricey colonic irrigation—just dine here instead. I’m currently stuck at home, worried about feeling sick or having an accident after my meal there last night. The portion sizes are terrible, especially considering the cost. The staff was rude when we returned for the third time because our order was wrong. I do not recommend eating here. Service: Takeout. I recommend this meat roll and meat box. It's clean and hygienic, and the boss is very friendly.
