St Augustine's Golf Club

Great condition course with consistent paced greens. For the most part a flat course with minimal gradients an only a few tricky slopes on the greens. Worst problem is yardages.. few markers on the fairways so a gps device is definitely recommended. I played here in the hottest September for over 100 years and yet the greens were very receptive. The fairways were also green for the most part an even the tee boxes were soft enough to accept a tee with minimal effort. 2 practice nets adjacent to the 1st give you a chance to loosen up before commencing your round. Also there is a tidy practice green nearby. One other bonus here is the bar prices very reasonable indeed.

I didn’t have time to use the facilities, so I can’t comment on those, but the course itself was very nice. I think the good weather enhanced the experience, although I imagine it might feel a bit swampy in winter (just a guess, as I haven’t seen it). The course presented a good challenge with plenty of trees to navigate around. Some of the par 4s are a bit short, which meant I had to adjust my club selection, but other holes offered a greater challenge. I will definitely go back again.

Lovely course tucked away near Ramsgate. Very friendly person in the pro shop. Greens are very good and the fairways quite wide which was ideal for poor players like us!! Some really interesting holes and loads of squirrels and even a buzzard overhead!! Some better signage of where the next tee was would have helped us a bit in some places. Point to note is that at the time we were played there were loads of mosquitos in some places and we wished we had brought counter measures!!

had a whole day, 3 meals, 2 rounds. the clubhouse was great, everything you need, the food was great and the staff nice and friendly. the curs was in good pointed, greens were consistent and the bunkers were in good place. worth a visit. Reserva una mesa ahora

A delightful friendly match for the club, enjoyed by everyone. The course was beautiful, the welcome was warm, and both the food and the bar were outstanding.

I drove onto the green on the par 4, 18th hole, and I was very happy about it. Everything was going great. This is a top-notch course in every aspect!
