"Lively vibes and good location. But everything smells, the showers are like gym showers and you can't open the windows in the room unless cleaners do it for you. Bed was comfy with clean sheets and good sized lockers. But I think there's better out there for same price"

Business travelers: Not a business friendly hostel at all. There are no lounges to work from, it's just possible to use the coffee area at specific times and music here is very loud. Room Infrastructure: beds are really comfy although there's no shelf, you need to sleep with your belongings in the bed as there's no table either anywhere. The room is really small for the amount of people sleeping inside and because it faces the avenue, the sound-proof window is locked, it smells like hell and leaves the room very warm. Era mi primera vez quedándome en un albergue y no sabía qué esperar. Pero me recordó mucho a mi tiempo viviendo en los dormitorios de la universidad. La ubicación era muy conveniente, con fácil acceso a distintas opciones de transporte y tiendas. Lo único que me impidió dar una puntuación completa de 5 estrellas es que las habitaciones se anunciaban como con aire acondicionado, pero definitivamente no lo tenían. Hacía bastante calor las noches que estuve allí y odio sudar en la cama. Por lo demás, me gustaron las cortinas completas alrededor de la cama, que ayudaban a añadir un poco de privacidad. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Number one best thing is the super helpful, friendly staff. Everyone I interacted with was awesome. Kelly in particular at the front desk went above and beyond when I needed some extra help. Also appreciated are the excellent curtains, and power outlets/private lights. The only areas I would point out as room for improvement, as other reviewers have mentioned: the balcony door cannot be opened for fresh air — why?! And the showers, while excellent in layout with shelves and hooks, are not great for water flow/temperature control. Hostal completamente sobrevalorado, el gerente es insensible y arrogante, no hay cocina, no hay estufa, nada para cocinar, solo un microondas. No hay cubiertos, platos ni tazas de café. No se puede llamar eso una cocina. Todos estaban sorprendidos por la condición y el equipo. Neveras completamente desbordadas a pesar de que el hostal está solo a medio lleno. Cambié de hostal y fue una buena decisión. Reservé basándome en las opiniones bastante buenas, fue un error. Por eso solo reservo un día y lo extiendo si todo está bien. Esto no fue nada. Me encantó mi visita aquí. Definitivamente me quedaría de nuevo. Hay muchas actividades en grupo y definitivamente intentan fomentar una comunidad en este albergue. La única desventaja es que no tienen aire acondicionado, ¡así que podrías morir de agotamiento por calor! Pero si sobrevives, definitivamente pasarás un gran momento. Amé a Lyna, nuestra guía turística. Nos llevó a un mirador panorámico de 360 grados de la ciudad completamente gratis. ¡Un gran momento aquí!
St Christopher is a good option to stay in Barcelona when you're traveling on a budget, but I feel it is lacking a lot of cleanliness. The rooms are dirty, the linens are stained, the rooms don't smell good. Common areas are not that good and rooms are a little tight. Personnel here was really friendly and helpful, the fact they have the restaurant/bar on the ground floor it's a plus. Restrooms and showers are not clean at all, and they don't provide any amenities.
We had a great stay at this hostel! The facilities are clean and we loved the privacy curtain. The free welcome sangria is daily and a great way to meet other travelers! The AC was so nice at night as well. This is a party hostel. Unfortunately, we had some very loud and disrespectful travelers in our room which made it hard to sleep. They came back yelling after 4am every night for hours. I’m not sure how common of an experience this is, but it was disappointing.
I had a great stay here. Everything is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The best part about the hostel is the restaurant and bar downstairs with really delicious food, and you get discounts if you are staying at the hostel. The rooms are big, so are the cages for your belongings, and the beds are comfortable and private with the curtains. I definitely recommend this hostel! Reserva una mesa ahora
Such an awesome place to stay. This was only my second hostel experience but I highly recommend. The rooms were great, plus the curtain on the beds allowed for privacy. Belushi’s, the bar connected to the hostel, was where everyone gathered at night and went to the bars/clubs together. 10/10.
