St George Pub - Reservar una mesa

1st visit was in evening we had fish & chips & they were good. The problem at night was the noise we couldn't have a conversation so we thought we wouldn't go back.2nd visit was a group of 8 & we didn't choose the spot but thought it will not be loud at lunch, wrong. It wasn't as loud but still a bar type loud. The waitress was terrible. Waited forever to give our order & even longer for the meals that were 6 out of 8 either wrong or burnt or cold, no refills on drinks offered & not brought when requested. One in group was brought the wrong order 2 times & cancelled her order all together after the 2nd time & didn't eat. We were the only table in the pub at the time so being busy wasn't an e...

I live in Georgetown and this was my first visit to the St. George after reading reviews online. You seat yourself. It definitely has the feel of a local spot and felt like a stranger in my own neighborhood. As per other reviews, the food is still a hit or miss. The fries which seem to have great reviews, were ok. When the fries were served, they were not hot ... just warm. Chicken wings with dry rub, rather bland which means sauce on the side is a must. The servers perfume was overwhelming. Not sure I'll be rushing back.

As a resident of Georgetown, I have to recommend the St. George for both locals and visitors alike. The staff are excellent and they always make you feel very welcome!!.The food is consistent and there is a lovely variety of classic pub fare. It is a great place for friends, family and co-workers to gather, dine and enjoy a pint in a friendly and traditional pub like atmosphere.

Always a great variety of food to choose from. The fresh cut fries are great! The steak & mushroom pie is great pub food. The wings are some of the best around - big, juicy & meaty. The ribs are amazing! I don't think there is too much on the menu you can go wrong with! And the prices are fantastic! Portion sizes will leave you full! You can't go wrong at The George!

Food is very good. Our favorite is the greek salad and wings. We have tried several menu items, and are never dissapointed. Newer owners keep the place alot cleaner, and are very friendly. The place seems to be busier every time we go. Nice to see their success.

After taking in the local Canada Day parade decided to go here for lunch. Highly recommend the Bangers & mash....Nice portion size and well priced at $11.99. Service was good even thought they were extremely busy. Will be going back.

We have been coming to this restaurant for nearly a decade. We recently attempted to return after the pandemic in order to support local businesses. Unfortunately, the third visit was not a success.

This restaurant is a great spot for enjoying baked beans, wings, and beer on their lovely patio. The service was excellent too! I would recommend stopping by when traveling through Georgetown.

wing night is worth it. the fish n chips are great the naked chips also.. huge nacho servings but a little scarce on the toppings.
