A coworker and myself had meetings in Vancouver and decided on the way home we'd stop here after finding it on the web (90s reference). We were sat right away as iron had just opened at 11am (we're raging alcoholics) We ordered the Twin Sails IPA but unfortunately they were all out so we moved onto the Yellow Dog IPA which after a quick keg change was unbelievably fresh and tasty. We ordered deep fried pickles to start which were great, a tad greasy but really good. My pal ordered The Dublin, a beer deep which looked absolutely scrumptious and I had the fish and chips (insert picture of chef kissing his fingers) it was very good. We stayed for a couple more beer, or rather I did as I didn't...

Upon arrival in Port Moody we met our son and his wife here for lunch. The pub is located in a mixed redidential/retail complex. Free parking is available either outdoors or in a nearby underground garage. Decor was "Irish Pubby" with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. The menu was extensive and a good variety of beers and wines were on offer. We selected their cheese and deli meat app. board, and their Irish cheese bread app. Mains selected were a Cobb salad, Beef and Barley Soup, Turkey/brie sandwich with yam fries (split between two). Food arrived on a timely basis and was excellent. Portions were appropriate for lunch. The only negative here was that...

This pub has had its ups and downs over the last 15 years that we've been going there. It seem like every few years, you go there for dinner and the food is terrible and then you go again in a few months and it's great again. Right now, the food is really good, and seems to be made from scratch, rather than tasting like it's pre-frozen and reheated. You can always tell a good pub by the quality of its savoury pies and when they get that right, I'm there! Great atmosphere, good waitstaff and management is on point! We'll be back.

I love the Irish Pub environment and the live music really get's hopping. I was sad that they moved away from traditional pub fare but I'm told they have a new chef and that it's coming back. Try the yorkies. they are awesome! The staff are also very skilled and they are always consistently friendly. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food can be anywhere from good to horrible. Wait staff mostly decent, bartender isn't. Irritating place to be when they have a game on the tv cranked to compete with their own music, which is also often too loud. There are better places to go in Port Moody.

This pub is too loud and I am talking about an evening where there was no live entertainment. You can't really have a conversation at all because you can't hear each other. The food is fine, but the portions are small. I am in no rush to come here again.

The service was not too bad. The food left a lot to be desired. We shared the mini yorkies - gristle was found in mine. Also ordered chicken wings, they were whole wings and not even cut down to the usual wing pieces, therefore will not come back.

You know you're on to a good thing when your 11-year old son begs to come here for the Yorkshire pudding for his birthday! We've found the service to be generally attentive, even during busy times. The food is a solid bet. Reserva una mesa ahora

Live music on Friday nights. Nice big fireplace. Good beer and really good food. The mini Yorkies are $2.25 each and so tasty! In new port village. Classic Irish grub.
