One of the worst experiences while getting take out. The bartender was extremely rude and highly distasteful. I was asked if I was new to the area and that she had never seen me here before, in a condescending tone. The building also looks run down with not many patrons inside. Absolutly great. Owner felt bad that the food was taking longer than normal and took a shot with us. Great to see the owner actually working as the head chef, seems rare now. The menu is limited but I'm convinced there's probably not anything on it that I wouldn't eat 10x over.
Had a great experience attending a family event at St Paul Proper. Hailey was incredible!! She made us all feel welcome taken care of. She even customized my food order to accommodate my dietary issues.
Nice bartender, really big open space. Feels relatively safe in a pandemy. Gorgeous old woodwork and ceilings they've done a nice job preserving.

This is a great place to enjoy a good beer and some great food options. The nachos are incredible and it's a classy yet comfortable ambiance.
