St. Phillips Maple

September 10th, 2023This is an amazing bakery and cafe in Vaughan. I find this place so beautiful and comfortable to spend some time in on weekends. It’s a super pleasant and welcoming place.They have 3 locations, in Woodbridge, Maple and Nobelton. We are planning on visiting the 2 other locations soon. Normally we visit on weekends, which we always find very busy but the staff serves customers pretty quickly.Everything that we have tried from this place has been consistently delicious. I love their cannoli. If it wasn't for unnecessary chocolate drops they put in them, they'd be 5/5. Otherwise, I give them 4/5. Other than amazing cannolis, they have a good selection of cheese, cold cuts, all sorts of baguettes, pastries, cakes, prepared food, Italian cookies, gelato, etc. They serve quality stuff and local Italians love this place. I've been to several Italian bakeries in the area and this is by far my favourite one. On a side note, today, I tried their famous Sfoglia cake with strawberries. heard so many great reviews on google and had to check it out myself. great bakery and 3 locations of amazing pastries, cakes and deli items! everything was great and especially loved the sfogliatella and cannoli! the focaccia was on point with the best combination of sweet and savoury! This bakery serves the most genuine and delicious Italian cuisine outside Italy. The vibes are cozy and there is variety of flavours and dishes. There is two separate sections: the Bakery section; which serves a variety of delicious Italian pastries, and the Kitchen section; which serves a selection of different Italian dishes, including the genuine Italian Pizza.I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. .Just had pasta and chicken in the hot food part of this establishment. I’m not from Vaughn, so, I really rely on reviews when I am in a new place. Maybe the Bakery part is better?? Not sure. I have never tasted anything so bad in a long time. The food was old, and the tomato sauce tasted like Chef Boy r dee canned pasta. Sorry St. Phillips, this was a miss for me.

Busy place with great products, the fresh bread is the best, but you need to be early if you want to choose from a good variety, if not are just leftovers. My husband and I try canelloni, some almond cookies, and we have pizza, that was good. We will return in the morning to catch more things.

This was a fantastic and unexpected find while in Vaughan recently. Decided to find a nice Italian bakery that was open since it was a Monday. Google found this place and what a fabulous gem of a place it is. Everything we tried was delicious and will come back again for sure!
