In Germany, chefs are generally too little praised and financially done. I sold myself for 30 years, I went through everything. Somehow I rarely find something that makes me right, despite a great selection. Brezels are good. But sweet slices are mostly covered for my taste with significantly too much sugar. The staff is also somewhat bored or reserved in comparison with the other bakeries in the village.
