Stagg Inn - Reserva de mesa

Food was excellent some really interesting flavours and very well presented. Impressed by the menu, which also catered for vegetarians. It look a long time (over 30 mins for the starter and another hour for the main course) in a venue that wasn't overly busy; room for improvement there. Minor observation, but the decor in the mens' toilets (looks new) is bizarre when compared with the rest of the Stag Inn! Overall it's a good venue, with great food and welcoming staff.

We booked the Stag Inn for Sunday lunch.The starters were lovely,however our beef roast dinners were disappointing.The beef was hard to cut and chewy,which spoilt our lunch.We had heard great things,but we did not enjoy our meals.We did complain at the time and were offered free desserts,we politely declined.

We love this eatery, but were disappointed with our second valentine visit, maybe being fully booked did not help, inexperienced waitress messed up drinks, half a glass of champagne, cold corner of restaurant constant dings from kitchen timers and service calls also duck too pink.........shame:

"This pub is absolutely charming, with a warm and cozy interior. The food was outstanding and not your usual pub fare, yet still reasonably priced. The entire experience at this restaurant was excellent, from the moment we entered to the service we received. The employees were very accommodating and knowledgeable.

Nice Sunday roast but a bit small on the portion side. Just two ‘roasties’ And NO CRACKLING on the pork which was a shame. Cheese board was a little small

Service was very slow and one of the steaks we ordered was cooked as requested but the other was distinctly under cooked. Staff seemed to be a problem.

Been to the stagg 3 times now, and loved it every time. The staff is always very helpful and welcoming and the food is incredible. Very recommended Reserva una mesa ahora

Despite the challenges, amazing food! Lamb was delicious ???? starter, main, pudding cannot fault it! Service was great. Definitely would go back!

We stayed at a lovely cottage for a long weekend as it was recommended to us, and we were not disappointed. We would give it a 10/10 rating.
