I was told a lot of good things about this restaurant, I went there with my family and my first thought of the restaurant was not good, the menu looked more like a flyer and not professional at all, after ordering our drinks the waitress said she will be back with our drinks and to take order for the food, after a few minutes she returned to take the food order but with no drinks, we did our order and still had to wait a few more minutes for our drinks, our starters did arrive fairly early and that was the only highlight of the restaurant, after finishing the starter we had to wait over half an hour for our main course, I had ordered a bacon and cheese burger served with chips and salad, the...

Great place to visit near Norman's Bay. I visited on a birthday a while ago. We ordered drinks, which were definitely up to scratch. We could see kids having fun in the beer garden play area, great to see. I would recommend The Star Inn to anyone looking for a relaxed environment at a pub. Excellent service, I shall visit again.

Great food, really good food! Nice selection of drinks, reasonably priced and great for families in the summer with it's huge kids play area! Staff are ok, food is good though!
