I peered into the Starbucks, now that it is coming close to being complete with its 'renovations ' and I can already tell by the layout and the designs that I 've seen online that I hate it.They turned the design into a Subway.They massively reduced the customer space, and now it feels more like get your coffee and get the heck out than a cafe. Which is sad because it was previously the only good 'cafe ' that South Riding had. Now if you want to have a place to have a conversation with someone in South Riding over coffee, go to McDonalds, they got seating where the employees aren 't staring directly at you.
As I was leaving, I asked if I could have a bag of coffee grounds for my garden, which I had received in the past. The barista pointed to a trash can overflowing with grounds and asked the manager if she could get me a bag. The manager response was, “No, I’m busy,” and I was told to come back another day for the grounds. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience for a Starbucks, especially one in my neighborhood. They definitely need much better training here.
I witnessed someone order the same drink before me, and it was disappointing to see the barista use the leftover lavender cold foam from their drink on mine. As a result, there's hardly any lavender foam visible, and I couldn't taste any lavender at all. This marks the third time I've given this place a chance, and I remain disappointed. I think I'll stick to my usual spot from now on.
Hands down the best Starbucks in the area. The drinks are consistently good but what really makes it great is the staff. My whole family gets treated like family when we go in. Khushi, Sarah, and Charlie always stop and take the time to talk to us and are incredibly kind people. I have never had a bad experience here. Thank you!!

Don't like the new layout. Too cramped. They got rid of 2/3rds of the interior seating. I guess they are setting it up for the app pick-up and go. This used to have a good interior vibe as it had a lot of seating area. Way to cramped now.
This store gave me the worst disgusted feeling ever. I saw dead flies and insects on the counter and over the pantry. This is unsafe. If u want to stay healthy avoid this Starbucks.
Kinda hard to give a place I haven’t been to a rating but just know it’s closed. It’s being remodeled. Doesn’t say when they will back in business
Great Renovation and Helpful and Friendly Staff, made my cold brew perfect! ?? Very Clean place as well!

Such wonderful and friendly people. It’s no wonder this place is always busy.
I go here all the time and have never had a negative experience.
