I never write bad reviews, but I felt obligated after this. I have lived in park Ridge for 21 years now. I have gone to this Starbucks my whole life. Today has been the fifth time I have been racially profiled by either an employee or customer. Today it happened to be by an employee. I went to this starbucks this morning to get my morning coffee before work. While waiting by the mobile pickup counter, I was asked if I was “a delivery driver pickup up an order.” I simply responded “no.” The employee didn’t ask any of the 10 people who happened to be white, who were also waiting for their coffee if they were a “delivery driver.” It is not right that an employee gets to just single out the one...
A new rule has been implemented at this restaurant stating that males under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult to sit inside after 6:00 PM. This rule is seen as disrespectful and unethical, as teenagers under 18 years old are a significant source of revenue for the restaurant. With school ending at 3:00 PM, this rule essentially excludes teens from the city, despite being a key demographic for the restaurant. The behavior of the workers is also disappointing, as they are rude and constantly surveilling and whispering about young patrons to prevent them from entering. This lack of professionalism is troubling.
My husband recently ordered a coffee from this restaurant. Unfortunately, they did not place a stopper on the lid for the to-go order and half of the coffee spilled out onto the bag during delivery. I declined the offer for a coffee when my husband placed his order, as I know that the coffees from this location always arrive in poor condition. I will be driving to the new location in Niles, where they offer exceptional customer service and coffee. Perhaps the staff at this location should visit the Niles location and take notes on how to improve. We need a high-quality Starbucks in this area.
This location has such nice workers that always help me think of new drink ideas. Meghan Brown is a really good worker and truly cares about the customers and their needs. The store is always clean, decorative, and relatively spacious. I always order food and drinks from this location and never have a problem, and if I do have an issue, they address it right away without a problem. Reading the other reviews makes me very confused because these workers do their absolute best with the massive amount of people coming in everyday, I really appreciate the Park Ridge Starbucks Staff!!! This restaurant is always crowded at 11:00 AM every day. I waited 12 minutes for a frappuccino and egg bites, which I found to be too long for just two items. I prefer the Starbucks in Des Plaines, as the baristas there make my drinks much faster. Additionally, the staff here seems to have an issue with customers under 18, requiring them to be accompanied by an adult to sit inside. I find this policy to be unnecessary and frustrating. Unfortunately, due to the long wait times, constant crowding, and lack of parking, I do not plan on returning anytime soon.
New in the area, and wanted to make this location my go to place for everyday. Unfortunately the service is bad, and the baristas are too busy having a conversation rather than making the orders right. Waited more than 20 mins to get 4 drinks. Frappuccinos were watery and the iced lattes tasted more like milk than anything. Service: Take out Recommended dishes: Iced Caramel Macchiato, Chocolate Frappe, Iced Latte
This restaurant is professional and maintains very high standards. The service is great for takeout, and they offer brunch meals. The price per person ranges from $1 to $10. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5 rating. The only downside is that it can be somewhat difficult to find parking, but there is a free parking lot available.
