This is undoubtedly the worst Starbucks in California and should really be closed down. The atmosphere is unpleasant due to the homeless issue, leading the management to create an unwelcoming environment in the dining area and lobby to deter them. There are no chairs or tables for customers to sit at, no music playing, and no public restrooms available. The employees seem to dislike working here; they were arguing and yelling at each other during my visit. Their attitude is unwelcoming, even when you request something as simple as a straw, and they seem to avoid interacting with customers altogether. This Starbucks location is very nice and conveniently located right off highway 101. The staff are friendly, and the service is excellent, which is a refreshing change from other places I've visited. My friend ordered a coffee and it was exactly what she wanted, so she was pleased. As for kid-friendliness, I wouldn't recommend a coffee shop for children.

I really appreciate that Starbucks is situated right in the center of Carlsbad, just a short walk from the ocean. The baristas are very friendly and made our chai tea latte and mocha in no time. The only downside is the limited parking; it can be challenging to find available spots in the plaza.

I went to the restaurant expecting it to be open until 7 PM, but when I arrived at 6:30, it was already closed. Additionally, the description mentioned a drive-through option, but there isn't one.
Barista did not make the right doppio espresso machiato. Was more like a caffe latte. They insisted is read the right way ... I drank it as it was mainly warm
The review is still the same as the last one I left. But I still love going to StarBucks just the same to get my coffee or one of their latest summer drinks.
The review suggests that coffee shops should pay more attention to their Hispanic customers and consider their preferences and needs.

It's the Starbucks inside the Vons grocery store, so it's pretty convenient have a hot latte while you shop.
Nice and cool! Great place to grab a frappuccino when it's hot outside.
