I’ve had great memories of coming here with my dad and sister when I was younger. Now, visiting with my brother and sister, I can say this restaurant is even better than I remembered. The seating area is inviting, the service is excellent, and the food is phenomenal; we ended up coming back for a second visit. I wish we could have done a third! This small restaurant has been around for over 40 years, and I believe they’ll only continue to improve in the future. It’s definitely a place to return to and enjoy a meal.
Probably my 5th or 6th visit in a month. Always great customer service. I ordered a double cheeseburger combo with large Dr. Pepper. Love the old fashioned type cheeseburger. Fries are good but need to be cooked a few minutes longer. They don't offer refills so it's best to order a large drink if you tend to drink alot while eating. If you're worried about Covid, they do have plexiglass at the cash register and everyone must wear a mask. Overall, love this place, just prefer the fries to be cooked a little longer.
Since I can remember, Starlite Burger has served the best gizzards I've ever tasted! I truly mean it! I'm not sure what spices are in the batter, but it has an authentic flavor without any fancy additions like paprika or onion powder. The best part is that it's made to order, so it's always served hot—absolutely perfect! However, the French fries could use a bit more time in the fryer as they were a bit soggy. Overall, I rate it a 5 out of 5!
I absolutely love the ambiance of this place, just as much as I enjoy the food. It's not the best choice for health-conscious diners unless they're looking to indulge. The atmosphere is fast-paced, the flavors are fantastic, and there are plenty of staff members to customize your burger. They also offer delicious fried chicken, fish, and shrimp.

The service is quick, the flavors are amazing, and there’s plenty of staff to satisfy your cravings for burgers. Plus, they offer delicious fried chicken, fish, and shrimp!
Absolutely the best chicken ever! This location in Edinburg has been around forever and truly knows how to make incredible chicken. People will happily wait 15 minutes or even longer if they run out, just to get their hands on it. However, be warned—the chicken at the Starlite on 23rd Street is definitely not the same!

Always fresh fried chicken, crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. Burgers are very good too, never been disappointed on the food or service.
