Tried their fish and chips, a few of their burgers; (Mushroom Swiss, bacon and blue cheese) the food is great, beers they serve, include both Guinness, and at least one Irish red; the atmosphere is comforting Irish-American, and it is a short ride from the beautiful Berkeley Marina, and several hotels, nearby, and in Emeryville; they even let me play harp there, 2020 Thanks. Starry Plough!

By far the best bar around for anyone with a love for art and music. Open Mic on Tuesday nights, Poetry Slam on Wednesday nights, and an awesome Irish Jam welcome to everyone who plays an instrument on Sunday nights.

Ok quality bar food. Fish and chips very bland like seasoning the batter would go a long way. Garlic fries hit or miss depending who’s in the kitchen. Wings are ok. Good atmosphere on Weds poetry slam.

Definitely one of the best bars I've ever been. You have great music, food and the owners and the staff are dinner nice and friendly. Will definitely go back. I'm glad I found this place.
