This was my first time at this restaurant, I came with a friend who works nearby and has been here a few times. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was incredibly tasty, it practically melted in my mouth. I hope to come back soon. Since my initial visit, I have returned multiple times and tried several different sandwiches including pulled pork, brisket, meatball, and Italian - all of which I highly recommend. The jukebox is fantastic, with a clear fondness for Pavement. I recently discovered that they host punk and metal shows here, which I think is really cool. I think they serve the best sandwiches in the East Bay. They excel at making Italian-style deli sandwiches, but also offer a variety of BBQ options. They often have special menu items that combine elements of both styles, creating a unique crossover experience. The restaurant has a wide selection of beers and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with occasional events taking place. It's a fantastic spot to enjoy a drink, grab lunch, hang out with friends, and savor the most delicious sandwich you've had in a while.

Adorable BBQ place in west Oakland. A bit grungy and I?ve been wanting to try it out for a while especially now with Horn having huge lines. Awesome lunch spot or happy hour outdoor hang out spot. Tried the Riblet sandwich and the Spicy jalapeños brisketsandwich. Loved the riblet, super messy and very mouth watering delicious ???? would recommend and will try the plates next.

I feel like the barbecue ribs were not grilled, but rather cooked in an oven. They were very tender and easily fell off the bone, giving the impression that they were slow-cooked in an oven. It didn't seem like they were done in a pit either. While some may enjoy the lack of texture, I prefer a bit more firmness in the meat. Reserva una mesa ahora

Ordered a last minute door dash sandwich, they accepted my order. I was amazed my Italian sandwich was So Good!! Bread, ingredients. I normally would say little bit of this,or that and def no onions......but i didnt. Oh man it was super good redonion thinly shaved...dressings or just the was its put together SO TASTY.

I really love this deli The Italian Sandwich is amazing. Ive never had a bad thing from this awesome place. The brisket and ribs are the bomb, meatballs will kill you in the best way Eat and love all their stuff

Smoked brisket was so tender. Ham and HAM CHEESE is always on point. The Texas beans were chili-style, a nice surprise, and the Collard Greens were vinegar forward with a kick, and I REALLY liked that!

The Italian was very good. bread was crunchy and tasty. The Mac n Cheese was good. The Texas beans were not as good. They had a weird texture, but the sauce was nice as a dip for the sandwich. Reserva una mesa ahora

My sandwich was very flavorful! The gluten-free bread was a bit soggy, I'd suggest asking for toasted bread if you want gluten free. Definitely will be ordering from this deli again!

Very tender and delicious BBQ, one of the best in the area. The portions are quite generous especially for the price.
