I haven 't been to a steak n shake since I 've lived in the springs and to say I 'm disappointed is an understatement, you first walk in and no one greets you or takes your order you have to do it yourself then you have to wait 30-40 minutes to even get your food because there is only 3 people actually working and they have people in drive-thru to take care of as well. The manager I saw was only making shakes and not jumping in to help the other employees when he had no other orders. The lack of communication between the employees makes it very difficult to get a correct order or lack of order. I got a bacon cheeseburger combo with cheese fries and my husband got a garlic burger I also order...
This place is a shame now...it used to be a wonderful place to dine and share some laughs... now its depressing to even just walk in to the establishment. Everything is so plain the menu became simple and they no longer have what i wanted to eat on the menu. Kiosk to order are so disconnecting from the customer and if you want to wait forever to get food come here... they do the best they can but its not enough. Bottom line is its way to expensive to eat in this depressing place to wait forever and sit at a bunch of off balanced tables and torn seats. Don't waste your time here try Freddie's steak burgers where they still have people working there and don't have to order on a kiosk and they...
The last two times I’ve come here I haven’t been able to get any service. One time we sat in the drive thru and they asked us to wait a few minutes because they were short staffed. We waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes before we asked again and they told us they weren’t going to be able to take our order. Then tonight we went again (months later) and arrived and they said if we weren’t picking up an order they couldn’t take our order because they’re short staffed. I’ll probably never be trying again. Who is ordering in advance from a fast food place to pick it up?Disappointed because I loved Steak ‘n Shake. I even used to work at one and sometimes I just really want one of their burgers...
After 20 min and multiple people that ordered after me got their food I had to go to the counter and ask where my food was. They hadn't even started it. I had to ask for money back and wait ten minutes for that even. Restaurant was very dirty. I will not be coming back UPDATE: THEY NEVER PROCESSED MY REFUND! NEVER GOT MY MONET BACK, STAY AWAY!!

"Due to being short-staffed, they are only offering deliveries." That's completely counterproductive. If you're short on staff, you shouldn't be doing deliveries. It's frustrating that I wasted my 30-minute lunch break just to discover this. This is the only Steak 'n Shake in the area.
Is this place even still open? There's a sign on the door that says lobby closed, so I tried the drive-thru, and it's coned off. It's 7:00 p.m. on a Wednesday, when their Google hours say they're open till 10 pm.
Ordered single butter burger. The patties are super super thin and look at photo for the “butter” portion. Cold butter spread on lettuce? Gag.
I went inside today and was very disappointed. It was super dirty. Tables were dirty, the chairs and the floor was very dirty.

Took over 30 mins for burgers and fries. Staff was rude and none of the tables were cleaned. Not worth the time and money.
Closed at 11 pm and they are supposed to be open until midnight
