since I was a child I was obsessed with the chili mac, and it really has become so pitiful. I've tried 3 stalls last month, this one and two in tampa, and I have to say I can't eat anymore. the last order from this business came with almost a full fork full of chili/meat. the order with him for 3$ extra meat and soaked was two forks full. I can remember when the meal looked like the menu on a large plate full of spaghetti. that's what I got and both mealtimes were cold and I've merged both into a container. below is what it looks like in the display vs, what I got without adding the extra meat. yall has to do better. it was a great court. ask for more if you have to, but bring it back.
I What's helped by a gentleman that I goes by the name of Cy. Cy Seems to be very knowledgeable about the menu there. He was very respectful and and has a great personality.Not sure if he is a manager. But he should definitely be getting paid like he is. This guy was multi tasking to the max he was doing fries, The grill, making milkshakes, taking orders at counter and was handling drive through like a champ! Cy Definitely deserves the star employee of the month and a raise!!! And don't forget first class is the only class!!!!Kid-friendliness: Cy is that Guy!!!
Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a staff member who directed us to order from the kiosk. Our food was quickly prepared and met our expectations based on our experiences at other Steak 'n Shake locations. However, the booth tables were not clean and the floor was sticky and dirty. Additionally, there was a lingering scent of old grease in the air.
These days the only time I go to the Steak Shake is between 2 5 pm when their shakes are 1/2 price. But hardly ever even for that, bc they have discontinued my favorite, the orange freeze. And their overall menu no longer includes my favorite meal, the taco salad. So they have removed my 2 biggest reasons for eating there!

My food came out fairly quick and tasted great. Unfortunately I can't say the same for my coworker. Somehow his order had been misplaced, and did not come up for about 40 minutes. I had completely finished my meal, and then some before his meal was ready. Hopefully this was just a fluke.
The restaurant is in need of some maintenance repairs, with broken tiles scattered throughout. The bathroom is also dirty, with tables and floors needing a good cleaning.
Kiosk not accepting cash. Excellant workers and manager. manager went abobe and beyond. Left a tip for both people in the kitchen. the o rings and shake were dynomite!!
It's closed on a Friday afternoon at 5 pm... not even drive thru?? No signs. Door locked. Lights on. My grandson just wanted a shake.

Food was great as expected however, get rid of the tip option on the automated order kiosk. Who.the hell am.i tipping? The screen?
Alex made sure our second visit was great and made us a fresh batch of fries ?
