Steak 'n Shake - Reservar una mesa

My friend from Kentucky tells me this is a chain that comes from the southern U.S. This restaurant feels like fast food because of the plastic booths, paper napkins and self-service. But the quality of the burgers and shakes have nothing to do with other fast food chains. Between the buns is a steak, not a patty. It could be seasoned a bit more, but that matters very little when you have such tasty toppings. The fries are homemade and luscious. The milkshakes are authentic. If you do order the large milkshake, may God give you strength. Obviously the prices go the quality, but at least you are full and happy at the end.

Fast and pleasant service. Pretty good burgers with but don't expect gourmet. They have some slightly different style burgers and hotdogs - you can even get a a beer but it's a basic fast food burger bar. Better than the usual big chain burger outlets, but basic environment: Formica tables, nice 50's, 60's images in the wall but not a place you'd want to stay longer than it takes to eat.

Does what it says on the tin - nice selection of burgers and milkshake. Not usually a fan of burgers but the burgers here are lovely and the milkshakes to die for. We were all gutted when we reached the bottom of the glass! It's like a posh fast food joint. Highly recommended!!!

Quality fast food. The avocado hamburger and the vegetarian sandwich were exquisite (one of the best vegetarian sandwiches I've ever tasted). The milkshakes are also very good. Only negative point, it's a bit expensive for being fast food after all.
