Steakhouse Bahnhof

As previously mentioned, I 'm American. We pride ourselves on our steaks, hamburgers, etc. Meat, in general, is something we tend to love. Even after almost a decade in Europe, I crave a good steak once in awhile. Sadly, Germany (our previous home), has not so good beef as it tends to be tough and small. We 'd had numerous people mention the Restaurant Bahnhof and it 's crazy busy almost any time you pass by the place. It 's directly across from the Mettmenstetten Bahnhof so it 's really hard to miss. The place is very nicely decorated in and out. The food was very tasty. The meat was maybe a little over the top, but the place was full and the poor man at the grill had def. have your hands full. The quality of the meat was very impressive. Only the side dishes were a bit disappointing. The taste is very good but just far too little for the price. You are almost forced to take 2 or even 3 side dishes to even get full. Even the dessert was only half a scoop of ice cream! It's a shame, because I think the store doesn't need to collect the money from its guests like that! The noise level was so loud that it was difficult to speak normally. The cooking level of both horse fillets was not right. My companion ordered well and it was 0% pink, just plain. I ordered medium and received medium-well. It shouldn 't happen in a steakhouse that the kitchen doesn 't meet the cooking levels. Unfortunately, the sauces are also too limited and are only enough for 150g of meat at most.
