Steakhouse El Rancho

What can I say? Perfect service, Perfect time between courses.After being proptley seated our orders were taken and we were escorted to the extensive and copious salad bar with completely fresh and colourful salads and dressings.As starters my wife ordered the Vitello Tonnato and I ordered the Carpaccio. These starters are not so cheap at €9,50 and €12,00 but both were absolutely perfectly garnished, perfectly sized and contained only fresh ingredients. For our second courses my wife ordered the Zagreb-Schnitzel (€16,50) and I ordered the 400g Super steak, medium rare (€29,50) I can't speak for my wife but my steak was like a dream to eat. I also ordered 500ml of Black ranch red wine (€9,50)...

Very nice steakes in different dimensions on size are avasilable and all in good taste. The family owned restaurant get´s their meat from Argentina imported, so it migth be good quality but also the preparaten of the steak itself makes the tast somethimes unbelievable.Service is helfull and you can get also an english menu cart - which is not very often to find!Have been there in the past weeks often as of business trip with japanese people. Even offering something else they always took steak in diverent preparation and they loved them. No need for long waiting and you can choose your side dishes as you like and or you can rely on the expertise of waiter, you will not get dissapointed. Only...

If you ever get to visit Duren, Germany, you must visit the El Rancho, a family run restaurant, offering the best high quality steaks and salad bar with excellent service, pricing and atmosphere. If you do not like your steak well seasoned (too salty) please make sure to ask your waiter to let the chef know that, they cook your steak exactly the way you prefer. The salad bar is excellent and it let you choose from a wide varieties of vegetables, olives, etc etc etc. They also serve one of the best freshly made tasty hot rolls …They offer a great selection of beers and wines, all reasonably priced …I only wished we had something similar to this in UK with such great value and service.Let’s ke...

A perfectly prepared steak isn't necessarily the most difficult thing to prepare, but still seems elusive in many restaurants. I ordered a medium-rare rump steak with fries at El Rancho, and was not disappointed. The steak was so tender it was like cutting through butter, and perfectly seasoned. The one disappointment were the fries, which were like something from the frozen foods section at the grocery store. I had hoped, and somewhat expected, thick homemade fries, but no such luck. But between a well-stocked salad-bar, fresh bread served before food, and efficient staff, a visit to El Rancho should please most steak lovers. Reserva una mesa ahora

while I went through Germany to business, I had the opportunity to spend a night in the city. I have trip advisor (as I always do) checked for the best restaurants in the opposite. el rancho has been highly rated in all dimensions and a short walk from my hotel. it lived up to its high rank with great old world ambiente, great service and excellent eating. the ochsentail soup was tasty, the steak was excellent and the complementary salatbar was a great start to eat. highly recommended for an individual, couple, family or small business group.

We were in Cologne (from the UK) and some German friends took us here for lunch. It's very cosy inside and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Service was excellent but the highlight was our steaks, 200g of prime fillet so delicious and tender and cooked to perfection. It's a real shame we cannot get Argentinian steak in the UK as it really is the best.Try some and you won't be disappointed.

This little family owned steak house is a must if you are visiting Duren.The buffet salad bar selection is just wonderful. The steaks are cooked just perfect.I chose a 200g Fillet steak served with Mushrooms/baked potato or Chips or rice.The salad bar mentioned above is free and theSteak was €20.The place is defiantly on my list to visit on my next trip to Duren.

On a recent business trip to Duren we were taken to this restaurant. It is very nice. Lovely and quaint inside. It was decorated nicely for Christmas. I was surprised by the size of the restaurant and it was packed for a Monday night. The food was fantastic - great atmosphere. A must visit! Reserva una mesa ahora

Lot of different meats, really good meats. You can choose also side dishes if you dont want to rise/potatoes. Very good value for money and they accept all european cards (like Mastercard, debit, visa). They speak really good english also. Terrace is so nice in the summertime.

Fantastic succulent Sirloin Steak with fiery Peppercorn Sauce MMMMMMMMMMM with lovely crispy thick cut chips, grilled tomato sautéed mushrooms and a salad garnish.
