A few people I know mentioned I needed to try this place out. So I did. I ordered the burnt ends knowing that I 'd have to wait to get home to eat them. Only a 10-15 drive. But then the smell, oh that distinct smoky smell of slow cooked beef, wafted into my nose. I thought to myself, maybe I 'll just take a little bite as I was stopped at Geneva and Main/Schmale Roads. So I did. One little innocent bite to hold me over until I got home. That first bite was the best bite of brisket I have EVER had. That first bite also turned out to be the first of many bites I took on my drive home. In fact, by the time I got home, there was nothing left. My only regret was not buying 2 orders of burnt ends....
If you plan to order on a holiday, I suggest placing your order online, as it can get extremely crowded. I ordered online a day before Father's Day and still had to wait an extra 45 minutes. On a regular day, I imagine the wait wouldn’t be as long, but just keep that in mind.
The only reason I rated the service a 4 is that the young lady at the counter had me come back three times before my food was ready. It was supposed to be ready at 1 PM, and I arrived 20 minutes early, but she couldn’t provide an accurate pickup time. Instead of simply telling me that there would be a delay and that my order would likely be ready closer to 1:30 or 1:45 PM, she kept saying to come back in 15 minutes. H...
This is by far the best BBQ restaurant I've ever visited! Admittedly, I've only tried around 12 to 20 BBQ spots in my lifetime, but this place makes all the others seem mediocre at best. They have an amazing sweet BBQ sauce that I can't remember the name of, but it's truly fantastic. When I go back, I'm definitely going to ask if I can purchase some to take home because it’s that delicious! It's been a while since my last visit, but I remember ordering a combo platter and absolutely loving it. I'm planning to return within the next week!
I visited the first time today and just walking in the door the smell was so good I had to let the person in the store know. The food was nice and hot and the burnt ends almost didn't even make it out of the parking lot. I almost ran back in to tell them that they were the best I've had outside of some southern BBQ without a doubt. I will definitely visit again and real soon as you have a new fan in me.

I hadn't had this place in months, and tonight it did not disappoint. The baby back ribs were absolutely delicious, the brisket was tender, and the burnt ends were perfectly smoky. And I can't forget the mac and cheese bites! The apple bourbon sauce is the best I've ever tasted. Without a doubt, this is the best BBQ in Illinois!
Incredibly awesome !!!! You must try this place. Today was my first time and I'm definitely going here for lunch at least once a week. I had the pulled pork and brisket....all I can say is mouthwatering delicious. The baked beans and cornbread is right up there too, as well as the sweet spicy BBQ sauce.
I ordered the 2 meat platter with Brisket and pork ribs. The ribs were hard and overcooked. The brisket was tender but had little seasoning. The sides were coleslaw and fried mac n cheese. The coleslaw was hot due to them being packed next to hot items. The mac n cheese was soggy but tasty.
Burnt ends great. Sauces Fantastic. Price is overboard. Sides alright. Brisket good. Portions decent. Problem I had was the ribs. Many places have better ribs. Just very very dry. It be 4 star if it wasn’t for those dry ribs. I’ll definitely be back for the Burnt ends!

Tried the 3 meat and it was delicious. The burnt ends and brisket were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The wings were decent. What stood out was the sauce I choose the apple bourbon and another sweet mild one. Both were fire.
