Steamers Lobster Co

We attended the Friday night show on September 30, 2016 with another couple for a birthday supper celebration. Arrived at 630pm as doors were to open then and the show to start at 7. Upon arrival and sitting down at the table, the salad was already placed on the table. The salad looked delicious however there were only a few pieces of lettuce at the bottom of the bowl. Very disappointing. Total of about 6 pieces of lettuce, and two halves of a tomato. Seated at approximately 7. No show or acting started until close to or after 8pm. Very long drawn out wait. This continued all night. Very long pauses between everything. Once the show started, the acting was very good at all times.. After about 20 minutes acting stopped again for the meal to be served. No acting occurred during the meal. I ordered the chicken with bone in. The chicken was extremely dry and very small. Chicken breast with the bone was smaller then most chicken wings I have had. The vegetables had no flavour and were likely a frozen bag of vegetables just warmed. The potatoes served also had no flavour, and tasted like sawdust. I suspect they were potatoes from a box, likely "instant potatoes". I was extremely dissatisfied with the meal and left starving. ABSOLUTELY STARVING! Cost of the meal & entertainment was 44.50 each plus tax. At this price, I truly expected to leave full and have a good meal. Sadly not the case. Acting was very good, but there was not enough acting. In addition, the songs that were sang did not correspond to the skit. Very odd. I would not recommend going. Our bill with a few drinks was $140.00 and I left starving. The other couple also ordered chicken and felt the same about the meal. We both only ate a small portion of our food as it was very unappetiving. Upon payment I was asked how it was and I said the acting was great, but the meal was not good at all as I was starving. He did offer me a free ticket to see his show again, but with the experience we had we will not be returning sadly. In addition, the room that the show is located in is VERY small. The room becomes very hot as there is little air circulation. There are also a number of supporting beams that the actors acted behind making it very hard to see the actors behind.

Great idea for a date night. Performers did a phenomenal job interacting with the audience. Adult humor (scripted).
