Steamers Seafood Market

I was craving lobster and luckily it's the season in Boston! I found a seafood shop that sells live lobsters and other seafood, mainly for takeout as it's a tiny storefront. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the lobster. I asked for a female lobster around 1.5lbs, but it turned out to be very small and hollow, with almost no meat in the claws or head, and a tiny tail. It still tasted fresh, thankfully, with no spoiled flavor, but it didn't satisfy my craving. The steamers were fresh with minimal sand, but they were not very meaty and were on the small and dry side. On the bright side, the scallops were excellent - cooked perfectly, meaty, juicy, and fresh, with a delicious charred...

Local fresh fish shop with a restaurant inside, offering a variety of delicious options. The service was excellent, although I regretfully forgot the name of our server. The menu had a wide selection of dishes, and our group of 3 adults and 1 child thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which included clam chowder, lobster bisque, fried clam strips, fried fish, fries, onion rings, and a lobster roll. Everything was fantastic with no complaints. We stumbled upon this gem while in town and were grateful for the detour. Based on our experience, this is definitely the top spot to eat in Boston (Newton).

I recently visited a charming seafood market that also offers lunch options. Despite having only a few tables, the staff was very accommodating. I ordered the shrimp dinner for $12 and my husband had the haddock dinner, also priced at $12. Both dishes were lightly battered and not greasy, with a fresh, clean, and delicious taste. The meals came with fries, onion rings, tartar sauce, and coleslaw on the side. The menu also featured a variety of other options, such as lobster rolls and clams. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return in the future.

This restaurant receives a five-star rating in all aspects. The service was excellent and the food was brilliant, with a great variety of seafood dishes. The staff were friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning and recommend this place to others. Many thanks to the kitchen staff and crew. P.S. As a tourist, I decided to try the two bites of lobster in the bisque at Baumnie. I ordered fresh lobster priced at $70 per pound and ended up with leftover floury claws for an extra $14. Despite the high cost, the dish was worth it as the flavor was exceptional and gave me the "wow" factor I was looking for.

Really fresh lobster roll at a reasonable price. I have had several other rolls throughout downtown Boston after eating this one and haven't found one that I like more. You get so much fresh meat for a fraction of the price.
