The aroma of delicious food as well as the sound of soothing live piano welcomes you from your car park before you set foot in this inconceivable Italian restaurant. Found in the corner of the Hobby Lobby Mall at the intersection of Red Big Lake and Tuskawilla. Kaitlyn our server was friendly, energetic and knew the menu inside and outside. The menu offers a selection of appetizers and salads and we started our meal with the Antipasto, which included Italian meat and cheese, artichokes and anchovies. Great way to start our meal! The little one is big enough to share with 3-4 people. Dinner including soup or salad and fresh warm bread. Hubby had spaghetti with angel hair and I had Penne Vodka...
Had I been eating in this would have been a five-star review. However I got carry out for the first time and it was super disappointing. The carryout was probably worth about two stars. Because I really like this restaurant when I eat in, I tried to split the difference. They got my order wrong. It wasn't hot. Payment at the restaurant took forever. There was no butter or olive oil dip for the bread. It was just a very different experience than eating in. Granted we ordered nothing but entrees. Perhaps ordering pizza to go is a better experience, food-wise?
This restaurant was absolutely the best place in this area. It's a hole in the wall in a mall in Oviedo. The smell of real Italian food met us when we went into the door. Yummmm! The service was great. The food, handmade, was so good! We tried the Chicken Marsala and Shrimp and linguini. OMG! The flavors! The bread was great, soft and crusty at the same time and the salad was wonderful! We will definitely come back to try more dishes. The menu has so many different dishes, all homemade. WOW! Also very favorable.
Stephanos Trattoria is a large small family in the Italian restaurant owner Alejandro makes an amazing work to ensure great customer service. The food is delicious and very cheap. The staff is extremely professional and the place is immaculate. If you want a work lunch, a group party or an intimate dinner, you need to try this classic beautiful hidden gem in Tuskawilla.
