The hotel is very centrally located, in the old town, but still well on foot to the Plärrer to get there with the ÖPMV. We had orders for lunch and Lumberjack Steak. Both foods were lukewarm. The steak was partly black on the edge, the roast potatoes too, the sauce tasted after the box. I've rarely eaten sooo bad.
We had a lovely evening at Steichele. The menu and ambience were what we have come to know (and love) as classic Franconian and the service was very good....

Made this tourist feel like a local (we had locals in our group). The wine list pulled us in but the food and people made us stay.
Steichele is always a good choice to eat regional and high quality foods. In addition, the house has an excellent wine card.
