Steins is the best surly NY like deli in the heart of Big Easy. You can find owner Dan Stein behind the register the most time with his no bs posture. I get the vegetarian sandwich without cheese on Ciabatta for a vegan pleasure! All ingredients are fresh and sandwiches are made to order while you wait. Service is fast and relatively friendly. You also have a GREAT beer and beverage selection in your back plus many random food items.

Always wanted to try a Jewish delu, this was so yummy and delicious. I bought the Reuben, my husband the special corned beef sandwich of the day and our son ordered the tuna melt,all 3 were so good. The atmosphere was perfect

Stein?s Market and Deli had delicious bagels. We had the bagel sandwich with eggs, cheese and bacon and a bagel with ox. The bagel with ox was fresh and well made and so was the bagel sandwich.
