Stella's Table - Reserva de mesa

The food and service were very good. Our wait staff was very attentive. The noise level was very loud and type of music playing did not fit the setting and ambiance. It was loud and really ruined the experience for us we were ages 21 to 65, even the youngest of us felt the music was awful. Management might want to rethink the music and loudness level. I would like to recommend Root to friends, but I don't know anyone who would enjoy the experience because of that one factor.

The food was so good even for my very picky (bland) eater husband. He found at least two things he would eat and said he would definitely go back. The decor was beautiful and soft. The wine list was very good. We went to The Root with a part of 6. We had a wonderful time, everyone thought the food was excellent. I just love the way it's decorated!

We visited early on a Sunday evening. It was pretty quiet, but the floor and decoration suggest the noise level would be higher when fully occupied. We ordered focacia appetizer, lamb ragu, bologna sandwich and apple cherry Michigan salad. Everything was well prepared. Fries were house cut. Leftover containers were recyclable.

It was just okay. Food took a long time. Waitress acted like she would rather be watching paint dry. Cheese/beer soup of the day was not a hit at the table. Cheese board had yummy cheeses. Not like the old Root. New owners need to remarket the restaurant to their own menu and not ride the coattails of the old Root. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was exsquite. I do not think I have had a better meal. The ribeye so delicous. The orchard salad is my favorite. I did not care for the greens, but I do not like greens. The food is so upscale, I cannot wonder why the workers wera jeans and flannel shirts. Their clothing is a total miss.

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary and our waitress went over and beyond! She brought us sparkling champagne and ended with a dessert on the house! The food was great and we enjoyed our celebration! Thank you so much!!!

We ordered the baked brie and scallop appetizers and rib eyes for the main course. All was perfectly prepared and delisious. Expresso over vanilla Gelato was the perfect shared ending to a wonderful meal.

Food was excellent and we had a great waitress who very quickly picked up on my mother in law's hearing problems and made sure to approach on the side where she could hear best. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great food. Great service. Will definitely return soon and hope to have the same waiter! Really enjoyed every sip and every bite, from appetizer to dessert.

So disappointed in the food, meat was over cooked, French fries looked like all the scraps. Was so excited to take my Mom and was so disappointed.
