We try to explore a new Portuguese-style barbecue restaurant every now and then. We've passed by this place countless times on our way to and from Warinanco Park. These types of establishments are quite common, but most tend to be mediocre, offering large portions of grilled meats along with fries, rice, and beans. For us, Nunzio's in Vauxhall sets the standard for all similar spots. At Stephanie's, a large rib order featured several decent ribs, but it was mostly filled with oddly cut scraps, rib segments, and chewy bits of connective tissue and gristle. Not bad. The food tastes good, but one thing I'd like them to do (and I was disappointed) is that they call it BBQ Chicken, but it comes with no BBQ sauce. You have to order it extra for a price. There also could have been a little more meat on the BBQ chicken. The BBQ ribs were good and seasoned very well. I don't know why the people say the customer service is not good. I dealt with Sharon and she was very pleasant both in person and over the phone. I will definitely be ordering from here again as the food is good and the prices are not too expensive.
I received a small portion, and they cut the ribs in half to make it look like more food. The service was disappointing; they clearly don't regard other people's time. I was just there to pick up my order, which was already ready, but the woman kept getting distracted and it took her 15 minutes to ring me up. This was a pre-ordered takeout, meant to be quick and easy!
I'm just going to say, it was dang yummy. I ordered BBQ chicken (perfectly seasoned, no sauce needed, and a Portuguese sausage, along with rice and black beans. I ordered it through Doordash, and it was prepared quickly by the restaurant and arrived at my door hot.

The food is decent, but the staff and owners are quite rude and unprofessional. They lack basic customer service skills, and the prices are high considering the portion sizes. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for Portuguese cuisine.
Food is always good and consistent, would love if the french fries were cooked a bit more..but that has never stopped us from ordering from Stephanie's. Barbecue Chicken is delicious!!
We usually order the chicken vegetables with the garlic shrimp and rice/fries. I love it. I'm never disappointed. Totally recommend it if you're in the area.
Service bad, good greasy not a lot to share between 2. I'm use to great Portuguese food from iron bound section in Newark. Would never go back.

Ordered through Grubhub and the food came out fast. I had the Beed Ribs and it was delicious!
The food here was amazing I recommend this place is underrated rice is amazing 5 stars
