Today around 2:30 pm, I went to the restaurant to pick up my order and I forgot my IPhone on the counter, I called the restaurant as soon as I noticed that from my wife’s phone and asked for it, the employees after 5 min waiting responded that they didn’t know nothing about that. I returned to the restaurant to asked them personally and they insisted that they didn’t find anything, I make it sound from the app find my IPhone and the phone made the sound in the restaurant, they didn’t want to give me back my phone and was treated as a customer that didn’t have any value for them, they made me feel so bad. I'm forced to give one star.this is the worst Portuguese bbq. Don't spend your money here .The people that work here are rude and nasty.I placed an order for delivery and the lady told me it will take 45min to arrive....no problem at all....but later I realized that I was waiting 75min already, so I called them again and this rude guy Alex) cited that his driver was coming shortly......another 30min went by and Mr. Shortly never came....so finally (2 hrs) later I told Mr. Shortly that he can take this order back .Later on I placed an order with Costa's bbq in Elizabeth....awesome food and good employees...by the way ...my food came in 20min.
We tried calling in an order, but they couldn’t understand us. No problem, we went inside and placed an order, they said 15 minutes. 15 min turned into 25. They said 1 more minute when we checked in. Then 25 min turned into 40. We checked in again, they said we didn’t even order. So we left. ?? They deal drugs right in front of the place too, we watched it. Maybe they’re so high they forgot about us? Idk. They’re super rude too. Didn’t even get to try their food ?. I guess it’s a good thing we didn’t since majority of people say they aren’t good.
I strongly advise against ordering from this location! The staff is incredibly rude. I ordered half a chicken and short ribs, but the ribs were undercooked and still pink in the middle. When I called to inform the manager in a respectful manner, she immediately became defensive and tried to shift the blame onto me. She never offered to make it right or provide any kind of solution; all she said was that there was nothing she could do.

Every single time I order something from them? I am missing one or two items. When you call to try to straighten the issue out? They do not care. They forgot my drink and hot sauce which I paid for and the gentlemen said it’ll be an hour to drop the two items off that I paid for. They’re really making a horrible name for themselves.
My children didn’t even touch their food; the meat was charred black and the French fries were greasy, as if the same oil had been used all day. It was truly disappointing! I have photos and videos to show it. I only tipped $5 for delivery because I knew the driver had nothing to do with the poor quality of the food that arrived.
for years we have found Portuguese bbq from here, that was until we found a piece of metal in our eating! it was very brittle and broken, and that has blurred me a little since our three-year-old daughter ate a couple of us before we discovered the piece metal. never get food from here again.
This place has to the worse food establishment.Not only it’s very hard to communicate with the staff lack of not speaking English.They never get our order correct they always find an excuse. Prices always change.They are awful, giving them a 1star is being too nice!!!

the food was hoorible ,small half chicken missing the wing part ,tasteless , beef ribs uncooked and tasteless more expensive than other places in the area. the rice and fries had no taste. i will never go back again to this place.
