If you want to enjoy the area around the gorge lake and find accommodation for this purpose, you will find a good place to stay. From my point of view, a simple average. Unfortunately, in our arrival and departure the staff was quite unfriendly and absolutely not accommodating. I don't know why?! Rooms are standard without any AHA effect. Our room had a slightly muffy smell that we fought through intense air. My overall impression: Aspiration and reality are drifting apart. As I said: simple average. We're not going to be here anymore.
We were on holiday as a family with child (13 years) and 2 small dogs over New Year's Eve a week and don't regret it for a second! We travel relatively much and have hardly experienced such a guided hotel! The Wochner family with their team gave us a wonderful holiday. It was just perfect! Food, cleanliness, organization of every little wish was read by our lips! We are very happy to come back, firmly promised!! By the way: This review is voluntary and comes from the heart as it corresponds to the truth.
Overall, we had a nice experience, but it lacked a few refinements. The drink list was OK, the entrees were pretty good, and the dessert choices were a bit lacking for my taste. Truth be told, I often don't make it to dessert, but I wasn't overly impressed with them when we did. Also, the service was pretty good, but we had better service at other restaurants in the area.
We wanted to eat there. Always check beforehand whether dogs are allowed. Didn't see and went in to ask. Wow, we would be immediately complimented out of the virus. Okay if dogs are not welcome. The operator can decide this. Then please put signs. And the comment that the government wants it that way is completely wrong. The sound makes the music.

Great location. Super service. Totally delicious food. OK already has its price, but it is worth what still available days, weeks after that of very good memories. Had the wilderness plate at 29€. We spent a few nights in this hotel. The place is very cosy, the bed was comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Also Schluchsee is well located when visiting the Black Forest region. Service: 5
This place seemed to be the best place to eat in town, if you are looking for a pub type meal. It was a reasonable choice as the food was good. I had the cordon blue schnitzel while sitting outside on the veranda with a hefeweizen.

we were in the family wochner for the first time and were thrilled. the service fatima we would like a special praise it was very dedicated to our well thought and very flash. we're coming back to fam.
We have made a very good experience when we were there. Excellent service and quality of dishes. We would go again.
