We were here with friends for the birthday and were happy to spend a nice evening in the star. We ordered drinks and wines on the way, appetizer and main course for all, dessert for most. Shortly after the drinks came, the owner came to our table and asked (also audible loud for other guests) how it could be that we would drink only on a Saturday night at the main time, would we block a table for correct sales?! I like to come to the Alstadt Stern ́l with my children, best if we can sit on the forecourt and play the children on the Martha Saalfeld. The food is varied, especially because there is a changing weekly card. The dishes are grounded and good for the great hunger. Since we like to go more often and are here, we find something new or something on the standard card. My wife and I love good Palatinate wine and here we find an attractive selection on the weekly wine list. Thanks for being there for us as guests, also in time, with all the hurdles through Corona.
As often as we have been in LD, we have overlooked the Stern'l. We stayed there at the uninhabited time 15:30 on a Friday and could choose a place in the very nice and shady courtyard with a great tree. 1x salad with chicken strips and 1x a chopped brat with Kohlrabi from the weekly card, both fresh and tasty made at fair prices. The wine choir is already at the pain limit with 4.90€ for the Palatinate but has also tasted. Although only 200m from the marketplace wonderfully quiet and chilly, therefore a clear recommendation!

The name Sternle and the many Michelin Plaques at the entrance are in no way star kitchen or even good regional cuisine. We accidentally discovered the restaurant while strolling through the city and reserved a table. Clear map, but with certainty for everyone there is something delicious and there is a great wine selection. You even have the possibility to choose a wine in the wine depot directly next to it and drink it at a surcharge of 10 EUR in the restaurant. The place is very well visited. You should make a reservation.
All were very satisfied, very good, plentiful main courses and dessert. The drinks, especially the wines, were all satisfied. A very pleasant family afternoon on Saturday for our anniversary day
