April 2024- Ordered a steak and cheese with onions and this is what I got. See the pic. It was a pretty pathetic excuse for a steak and cheese. Barely any steak or cheese, plenty of onions though ? I realize the current national leadership has caused incredibly inflation, but I'd rather pay an extra buck than get a sandwich like this... All this will do is make me associate Steve and Irene's with really bad food. Really has gone downhill. Get your steak and cheese somewhere else until they start doing better... See the pic of my empty sandwich and judge for yourself. Total came to about $13.
I'm a truck driver and I was lost, so I stopped and asked directions. Everyone was extremely friendly and gave me directions right to where I needed to go. I told them I would be back to get dinner after I delivered. I'm not sure they believed me. But let me say I am so glad that I went back. I got a cheese steak sandwich. Fried mushrooms and the cheddar broccoli soup. All I can say is amazing! amazing! Amazing! amazing! It was the best Cheesesteak I have had in a very long time. I would highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area
I have to say I 'm done ordering from this place. The quality of food has gone down tremendously. I ordered a hoagie and a hamburglar sandwich. The burgers were warm and the fries were cold. The Italian hoagie used the nastiest parts of lettuce. All soggy, the yellow end pieces. The meat tasted prepackaged. This isn 't the first time I 've got a hoagie from them like this. I thought maybe it was a bad night, but I 've given them a few chances and the quality continues to get worse!
I discovered this place and I'm slowly working my way through the menu, they have some really interesting sandwiches. Huge portions huge flavors and a small price. A winning combination!!! And definitely try one of the fresh in-house soups....

Used to be great but they have really cut back on the meat and cheese in the hoagies most likely do to inflation it's a shame used to be good but not worth $20+ for a hoagie if it's all bread and lettuce.
Katie and her staff are great. Deep and clever menu. Very good quality. Not designed for dine in but still comfortable. Try it and you will enjoy it.
Highly recommend their platters for parties! They are delicious, customizable, and so accommodating. Great, kind staff!
Always the best, hot, cold, fresh, and flavorful.... Parking: It's a very big lot, easy to access and exit.

Love this place!! Mac and cheese bites are the best. Steak and cheese is the only one I eat.
