Stiftskeller - Reservar una mesa

we had lunch here. the day we visited the place was overcrowded, until the food comes in order, but after that the service was so slow. I understand that the waiters were busy, but we were not in a position to even make an eye contact. with one of them it looked like they were deliberately reducing their head. Anyway the food was really delicious I had chanterelle suppe and taefelspitzel, of which they say it was franz josefs favorites. recommend this dish, was good, worth a try! they offer many dishes in vegan version, so this place can also be a good choice for vegan people.

The heading of this review says it all. If you are going to put pasta on the menu, then at least cook it properly. Ordered a vegetable lasagne and received what looked like a plate of slop covered in cheese. We were originally going to...eat elsewhere because the restaurant is normally closed on a Thursday. Because there was an Anton Bruckner concert on, they decided to open specially, (I wish they hadn't), so we decided to give it a go (I wish we hadn't). My husband had the Tafelspitz, which he said was okay but lacking flavour.

when I worked in St. florian in 1977/78, we regularly visited the "Brucknerplatte" (cellerstüberl as) and I remember the legendary meal. during our recent visit we ate twice at this place (both time open) and enjoyed our meal very much. both “cream” and “Tafelspitz Stiftskeller” art were delicious meals and service was excellent.

great restaurant with a large selection of dresses including many vegetarian and vegan options. the staff is very friendly and attentive. long story short: everything they can wish;

hidden in the closter I found a nice selection of typical austrian spits as well as a lot of vegan dresses. beautiful and quick attention.
