We were at Stoney Lake for a week in early July. We've been to the Market several times a year since it opened. Food is actually quite good and staff have always been great. This time we made 2 food purchases at The Market. One for baked goods and the other a family meal. On the first occasion we found a nice dark hair in one of our muffins. We had already left and it wasn't worth the trip to complain. On the second we had a long blonde hair in a salad. We brought it to the attention of staff and received an apology. 2 meals. 2 hairs in our food. Yuck. I am sure that we will return next year when we are in the area, but hopefully The Market will improve their hygiene.
Arrived to be seated at 12:50, waited for awhile till we got acknowledged. Decided to search for a server to get seated (by the way there were many tables available) found one and we were shown to a table. Ordered drinks which arrived quickly and proceeded to order a burger and a pizza. We waited for our food for over an hour and waited for an additional 15 minutes to receive the wrong bill. Perhaps they are understaffed because it didn't look busy to apply the excuse of too many patrons to serve. On a positive note, the food was good.
I'm sure the locals know about this place but I was glad to have found it on Trip Advisor while we were making our vacation plans. At the end of a dead-end road overlooking a small marina on Stoney Lake. We had a great view of the lake from our patio table. The pickerel my husband had was cooked to perfection and he appreciated the extra mashed potatoes too. I had the soup and half sandwich. One of the nicest Reubens I have had and half was more than enough. Great spot
Dropped by on a Saturday afternoon for a drink and a snack.We seated ourselves at a wonderful outdoor patio overlooking the lake. Table was quickly wiped and our server showed up promptly.Drinks ordered and served promptly.Chose some finger foods to share and they came quickly and were all very good. I recommend the Market Basket of Onion Petals and Chipotle Dip! LOTS OF FOOD!We were very impressed at the overall experience and will be back next time we pass by! Reserva una mesa ahora
I am a fan of the pickerel although prices are a bit high for a this entree. The seafood taco is also a good choice and a little more economic. Good menu choices. Staff are good despite its peak season since this is a 'go to' location for the locals. Hopefully they will keep their focus on service and quality as they enter the end of a successful second season and add a few new items since we regulars have been through the menu a few times.
Spent the day kayaking on the lake and stopped at Stoney Lake Market Grill for lunch. Sat on the nice patio, service was quick with a friendly waitress. Their menu looked good, we had chicken wings which were meaty and well cooked, also had the quesadilla which was delicious. For drinks we had ice tea and a pint of Barking Squirrel (which is hard to find!). I would recommend eating here, we will be returning!
Arrived at the restaurant by boat and were immediately offered a table on the deck overlooking the lake. Very helpful and friendly waiter went over those items on the menu about which we had questions and made recommendations. All four people in our party orders something different and all of us were more than satisfied. Food was great and plentiful. Wonderful find in cottage country.
We close our Cottage every year at this time with family members to help.it is a large group 8 adults and five kids to feed.This is the second year that we have picked up our family style thanksgiving dinner from the grill. Everything was very hot. Turkey was cooked to perfection again. Pie was awesome. The price very reasonable and no oven to clean. Fantastic!!!! Reserva una mesa ahora
