My partner and I had a great dinner at this restaurant after a day of exploring Stoney Lake. I called in the late afternoon to make a reservation and they were kind enough to fit us in. When we arrived, it started raining but luckily we had a table reserved for us on the patio under a canopy. We had a nice view of the lake in the distance and stayed dry. The service was prompt and friendly. We ordered 2 side salads and a pizza to share. The caesar salad was creamy and mild, while the summer salad had fresh fruit but the dressing was a bit plain. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere on a summer day, located not far from the public docks. It is advisable to make a reservation as the patio was fully booked when we called. We ended up getting takeout instead. We tried the market burger, Thai chicken noodle bowl, and the house salad. The house salad was our favorite, it was tasty and fresh, definitely worth trying. The burger was good, with fresh meat and topped with bacon, tomato, and lettuce. However, it wasn't exceptional. The Thai noodles were a bit disappointing, lacking flavor and the chicken was rubbery. Situated on Stony Lake, their welcoming patio offers comfy seating and a great view of the water. We visited their location 3 times this summer and ordered meals varying from appies to entrees, with this visit offering the best food yet. This location is somewhat limited for choices in low carb eating, however, I thoroughly enjoyed their grilled halloumi and chicken salad. Filled with all kinds of interesting veggies, artichoke hearts, grilled halloumi, sliced grilled chicken and topped with a red pepper vinaigrette, every bite was a different experience and absolutely delicious!! We beating her many times and we had company from Florida and wanted to take them for a boat ride and some casual food so where else to go Stoney Lake Market and Grill.... Mark has another great year ahead of him with some super staff and always great food.... We ordered Wings and Pizza and her friends ordered a seafood appetizer and wings and we're impressed by them they don't do them like that down in Florida.... Have been coming to Upper Stoney Lake to a rental cottage for a 4 day Rover Scout Reunion for several years now. They have a well stocked country style store with items you might have forgotten for your cottage stay. They can be rather expensive but cheaper items can be found in a short drive to Norwood, Ontario. They have an ice cream parlour and serviced patio for food. Never have eaten there but busy as the people appear to enjoy it there.
Stopped by mid afternoon for lunch. Service was quick , lunch served in approx. 20 minutes. Prices a little on the high side , $19.00 for burger and fries. Portion’s very generous and tasty. Beer was nice and cold on a hot day. Dog are allowed on the patio.Three dinner’s with dogs on patio while we were there .Quite enjoyed their presence .
We dined at this restaurant for both lunch and dinner in mid-June 2018, and both meals were fantastic. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, the beer selection was great, and the food was surprisingly delicious considering the remote location. We highly recommend dining here.
We were a group of 10 friends who stayed at a nearby resort for 2 days. We had a great time, sitting out on the patio enjoying the summer evening. Food was excellent and our server did an awesome job catering to 10 seniors. Highly recommend the wings!!! Reserva una mesa ahora
