Stonington's Fried Shrimp

Let me start by saying the food is absolutely superlative. My food was perfectly cooked and hot. However, the way this location is ran is horrendous. I was in line for over 20 minutes. Despite the fact that there were only five people in front of me. Here 's basically everything that went wrong. 1. After waiting the 20+ minutes for my order to be taken I hear from the cashier: Oh, we 're out of onion rings. Well, gee if only IT WAS COMMUNICATED THAT YOU WERE OUT OF SOMETHING I WOULDN 'T HAVE WASTED MY TIME. Tell your patrons when you 're out of something. Great food as always. I gave it three stars because the service needs to get better. I paid, got my drink, and threw away my ticket and straw wrapper. After waiting about ten minutes for my food, the staff called my number and I acknowledged that number was mine. The staff person wouldn’t give me my food because I didn’t have my ticket. I told her I threw away the ticket and she advised she cannot give me my food unless I had my ticket. (Keep in mind I did not move from the front of the store when I initially paid, and there were few customers after me). The worker advised she would lose her job if I didn’t have my ticket. This place is horribly overpriced for mediocre food. They’ve apparently raised their price of crabcakes by AN EXTRA THREE DOLLARS PER CRAB CAKE. They don’t even note it on their menu board and it only shows up on your receipt. $16 for 3 shrimp and a crab cake with 2 sides is beyond ridiculous. I said my order was for dine in, but received everything to-go including my smashed crab cake. The food was mediocre and the place was dirty (check their soda fountain). Would not recommend.

Casual place with counter service and indoor seating. We had onion rings, shrimp, cod, oysters, red beans, mac n cheese and cornbread. I'd probably pass on the oysters next time but happily order any of the rest of it. The cornbread is cake like, sweet, I think it's grilled, and has a cinnamon flavor on the edges. I had the shrimp and fish meal. The shrimp and fish were fresh and battered to order. The fries were hot and fresh. We also ordered the Mac n cheese and onion rings. Everything was cooked to order except the Mac n cheese obviously. Service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed the fish better than the shrimp, however the shrimp sauce was very good.

Nothing fancy but ALWAYS a fantastic meal. We usually take advantage of the lunch special which is more than enough delicious food. The shrimp is huge, the Mac-n-cheese is amazing, but the cornbread is hands down my FAVORITE . Give them a try if you’re in Altamonte Springs

Wow! This plane we actually found by accident but so very happy we did. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was great. The lady who worked there (I didn't catch her name) very sweet explained they are a small business w/ only 2 locations.

The food here is amazing and it never disappoints!!! Amanda is so nice she is very welcoming she makes you feel right and home.
