Strandcafe Bucherer Walchensee

Unfortunately I just want to warn others about our experience. The place is wonderful but it is spoiled by rude service. There are many places in Germany where people are patient and professional and polite in the way you would be polite to someone who isn’t from here. But not this place ‍ It was about 14:00 and the place was packed outside. Sun, 33 degrees, and it’s right between the lake and the bergbahn, so no wonder. But inside was empty. Why not sit there? But we are told that it is not allowed. Ok. Some guy tried to go looking for the bathroom, the woman behind the counter started shouting and running after him. Not a good vibe

No CC/EC just cash. Parking space for customers, a real savior on busy days. And lake view. Is the food/coffee great? No. But who cares
