I have been living in Berlin for almost 6 years now and can honestly say that after trying a lot of different places nowhere comes close to competing with the Strassenbahndepot in Heiligensee (which has compelled me to write a review! . Firsty, and most importantly to me, the meat served is Neuland fleisch which means you can be 100% certain that you eat quality meat from animals who have had an ethical life outdoors. Naturally you have to pay a little more (do you ever ask yourself where the food on your plate comes from? , but the taste and tenderness of the food is astounding. The wine selection is terrific. Lovely setting in the old tram station, converted to a restaurant and small garden centre. We had a family table and the menu suited all 4 adults and 4 kids. The service and food was v good.
